Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

 

What:        The Memorial Day Parade and ceremony is dedicated to the remembrance of   the men and women who sacrificed their lives in defense of this great nation. We take this moment to honor their lives and recognize the sacrifice service members made in all national conflicts of war, including WWI, WWII, Korea,  Vietnam, Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraq Wars

When:       Memorial Day

                    Monday, May 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. – 12 Noon

                    10:00 a.m.—Parade starts at SE Amerigo Avenue on East Ocean Blvd. and ends at Memorial Park

                    11:00 a.m.—Ceremony at Memorial Park

                    This year’s Guest Speaker and Grand Marshall are to be determined.

Where:     Memorial Park on East Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34994

Who:         The Veterans Council of Martin County is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
the betterment of  and to help homeless veterans and those veterans in need of
assistance. One of the principle functions of the Council is to provide transportation
to elderly, disabled or veterans needing transportation to the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach.

The Parade is organized by www.stuartparades.com and JayAreSystems.com. It is supported by the City of Stuart & Martin County.
